I know I haven't been very active on DeviantArt lately, but I've started a new blog http://sugarandiceisnice.blogspot.com/ For years, I've been experimenting with different cuisines and coming up with ways to remake my favorite foods.  After sharing countless recipes and hours of food discussion, a friend convinced me to start a food blog.  What an excellent idea!  Now I can share one of my passions with people everywhere! So I have an informal poll, of sorts, (since I don't have a subscription) to ask anyone who does any sort of art.  This can include photography, painting, drawing, vector art, or even interior design!  I'd like to hear answers from everyone. We've all made mistakes in our art.  It seems like every painting, wood-burning, and photograph I take has AT LEAST one mistake in it that is really obvious to me.  But there are times when that isn't always so bad, and I'm learning to acknowledge and accept that. So my question is this: Have you ever made an irreversible mistake in your art and ended up surprising yourself by really loving the result?
