Moose

I volunteer as a photographer for the Midwest Animal Rescue taking photos of shelter dogs being placed for adoption. Statistics show that good quality photographs increase the likelihood of an animal being adopted, so I'm so very proud to offer my services to these homeless pets.

This is Moose, the Saint Bernard. As you can tell from the photos, he was severely emaciated when he came to the shelter. But he was so incredibly affectionate and wanted nothing more than to be around people and be pet and loved. Unfortunately, shortly after this shoot, he collapsed and had to have emergency surgery. His condition was too severe and he had to be put down.
